I am honored to announce that my hats and bridal accessories are soon to be stocked in the new (and only) hat shop in Bristol! Opening it's doors in the last week of september, customers will be able to enjoy a range of millinery workshops as well as purchasing the work from talented milliners from around the UK.
The shop belongs to Theatrical milliner Ani Townsend, who has worked for many years making hats for stage and screen including projects such as In love with Barbara (BBC4), A Christmas Carol (Northern Ballet Theatre) and Far away (Bristol Old Vic Theatre). She was resident milliner at Welsh National Opera between 2005 and 2012, creating hats and head-dresses for new productions and re-creating items for revivals. So Ani really knows a thing or two about how hats are made and appreciating good millinery.
I am really excited to be represented in the shop and it will give more women in the Bristol area the chance to see my work and hopefully take part on one of my workshops!
