Loving the head-pieces Holly gave them to wear on tour, it seems that the girls’ style segues beautifully with Holly’s creativity and, in the immortal words from Bogie (swoon) which conclude the 1942 classic, Casablanca: “I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship”.
Holly thus approached the Belles to suggest that the synergy between their creative energies develops even further.
