I love making bespoke headwear for individuals. For me the best part of my job is the people side of things, the stories the, occasions, getting to know peoples’ personalities and really delving into the roll their hat or headpiece will play. Whether it’s face to face in my studio or via email and over the phone I feel I go on a real journey with my clients and I’m so happy to be an integral part of their special occasion experience.
I try to document each bespoke creation I make and I love it even more when clients send me pictures from their big day. Whether it be a day at the races like Royal Ascot, a visit to Buckingham palace or a very special wedding, it makes my job complete to see the finished article being worm and enjoyed by happy clients.
Here is a look into some of my favourite hats and head pieces made in 2018 and I’d like to say an extra special thank you to everyone who has put their trust in me this year!
As many of you will already know I am expecting my first child at the end of February. I will therefore be taking a break from bespoke commissions from the begining of february so please get in touch in January if you are thinking of having a bespoke hair accessory or hat made, even if you are not sure on your colours or outfit yet. I'll be updating my return to commissions date on my 'Bespoke' page so please check back (click on the word bespoke to visit page).
With thanks to clients: Elle, Scilla, Phoebe, Carly, Kim, Sue, Charlotte, Anne, Hayley, Clare, Nikki, Julie, Kerensa, Tina, Juliet and Lucy. And photographers: Toby Weller, Christain Michael, Nick Reader (More to be credited shortly).
