The silk dupion has a stiffness to it which holds the shape of the ruffles, while the surface of the fabric has a silky lustrous look which catches the light without being too shiny, like a pearl.

Holly’s Top Tip: Tie hair up with a small hair band first, then arrange the scrunchie on top allowing more for the fabric to show for a more impactful look.
